Linkin Park New Album 2010 - Di tengah-tengah keterlibatan dalam film Transformers terbaru yaitu Transformer Revenge of the Fallen dan beberapa angotanya sibuk dengan proyek solonya. Linkin Park bekerja keras untuk pembuatan album keempat mereka yang kemungkinan keluar tahun 2010. Sebenarnya album keempat akan dirilis tahun ini, karena Chester Bennington sibuk bersama Dead By Sunrise maka rencana perilisan diundur hingga kemungkinan awal 2010. Judul dan produsen belum bisa dikonfirmasi untuk album keempat Linkin Park ini. Tetapi baru saja Linkin Park telah menberikan kepada fans "New Divide" yang merupakan soundtrack Transformer Revenge of the Fallen.

Menurut pemberitahuan Mike Shinoda kepada Billboard.com tentang album keempat LP, mereka telah banyak menulis materi untuk album keempat mereka dan setengah telah selesai, tetapi dia tak berani menjamin karena setiap harinya para personil berkumpul dan menuangka ide-ide serta menilai untuk memperbaiki ataupun melakukan perombakan terhadap materi-materi album keempat Linkin Park nanti.

Shinoda mengatakan bahwa Linkin Park akan memberikan perubahan warna musik dari album mereka tahun 2007 "Minutes to Midnight" kecuali transisi yang menarik pada album "Minutes to Midnight", karena proyek solo Chester Bennington bersama Dead By Sunrise. Album keempat nanti tidak akan seperti album-album Linkin Park sebelumnya seperti "Hybrid Theory" dan "Minutes to Midnight" melainkan album keempat ini akan dirasa tak hanya sekedar sebagai album rock tetapi Linkin Park juga akan bereksperimen dengan pendekatan lain.

Dia mengakui bahwa unsur rap yang tidak begitu besar di album "Minutes to Midnight" akan lebih menonjol saat album keempat ini. Shinoda mengatakan ia telah menulis bahan untuk album ia berencana untuk mengambil beberapa orang "Fort Minor (side project rap Mike)" dan dump ke dalam album LP. "Saya ingin merekam suara-suara yang berbeda sehingga anda akan mendengar lebih rapping di album Linkin Park ini.

Linkin Park adalah grup musik asal Amerika Serikat yang mulai dikenal lewat lagunya Crawling pada album pertama, Hybrid Theory. Album tersebut terjual hingga jutaan kopi di seluruh dunia.

Dengan kesuksesan debut albumnya itu, muncul album remix dari album Hybrid Theory, berjudul Reanimation.

Pada Maret 2003, Linkin Park mengeluarkan album keduanya berjudul Meteora. Dan yang terbaru, pada Mei 2007, Linkin Park merilis album ketiganya berjudul Minutes to Midnight.

Linkin Park sendiri didirikan pada 1996, dengan anggota saat ini Chester Bennington (vokal), Rob Bourdon (drum), Brad Delson (gitar), Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell (gitar bass), Joseph Hahn (turntable, sampling), Mike Shinoda (backing vocal, sampling).
